Reed, US Army Field Artillery, held in manuscript by The National Archives. It is the almost unknown story of self-propelled 75mm guns on half-tracks, manned by US-Filipino crews, which fought the Japanese invasion of the Philippines in 1941. The author commanded the 4th Field Battery and recounts all the details of organization, supply problems, and operations in combat.
